This article misses the point. Just because there are a lot of Jews in media doesn't imply 'control.' Many people assume that there is some kind of Jewish agenda or centralized organization that aspires to control things. This may be true of the Israeli government, but as an American Jew I can tell you that there is no agenda, let alone consensus, among Jews. As the old joke goes, 3 Jews in a room means 6 different opinions. It's like Antifa -- a non-existent organization that is used to justify a "threat." There are simpler explanations for the preponderance of Jews in media. Culturally, Jews tend to value creativity. And because it was difficult for Jews to break into a lot of professions due to bias, media became an easier road to success.
